“How to improve access to digitized historical texts: the IMPACT project” will be the title of two presentations to be held on 17 October in Geneva at the World Health Organization (WHO) and 18 October in Bern at the Swiss National Library.
In the course of the "Library Science Talks 2011”, Aly Conteh from the British Library UK will give an insight in the current work of the IMPACT project. IMPACT is a project funded by the European Commission. It aims to significantly improve access to historical text and to take away the barriers that stand in the way of the mass digitisation of cultural heritage.
