Network of Swiss institutions and sources in economics

Project

As part of the innovation and cooperation project "e-lib.ch: Swiss electronic library", "Infonet Economy" offers access in the form of a single point of access to digital economic publications from all over Switzerland and thereby enhances the economic resources of Swiss institutions. It encourages interaction between institutions which publish economic information.

There are three main pillars to the project:

• To develop a national network of economics libraries, document centres and institutions involved in specialist economic fields, using a participatory model
• To provide access to the electronic publications of the partner network
• To provide general access to all the main sources of economics-related information that are used in Switzerland.

Contents

The portal will comprise the following elements:

• a directory to all useful economic information sources for Switzerland (extension of the directory of sources Areso to all regions of Switzerland - directory of economic resources of Western Switzerland)
• a directory of the various Swiss economic actors producing economic studies / economic information (universities, secondary schools, specialized institutes, specialized agencies, etc.)
• electronic publications of the partner organizations sorted out by subject and by institution
• a space dedicated to the diffusion of current economic news and events
