Web portal e-lib.ch: Retooled to be more user friendly

As from now, new functions make the Web portal e-lib.ch more user friendly:
- The list of
results
is represented more clearly: information can be viewed via tabs. Search hits can now also be sorted
according to title and author.
- Search queries can be saved or titles of documents organised on a personal electronic bookshelf, the so-called e-Shelf
. It is also possible to send hits
by e-mail
.

Maintenance work on the Web portal e-lib.ch will be carried out on Tuesday, 13 December, 8 pm to approximately 12 midnight. This may result in site downtime or short service interruptions.

Within a few days a number of new features will be introduced to the working environment of e-lib.ch. A broad range of functionalities designed for better personalization will be available, e.g. options for saving search queries. Additionally result lists will be represented more clearly and access to documents given more efficiently.
More detailed information will follow middle of December.
